In January-March, Ukraine increased nickel and nickel wares imports by 3.4%, to $24.133 million ($8.338 million in March) and lead by 11.8%, to $3.193 million (0.918 million), but decreased aluminum imports by 4.4%, to $78.6 million ($27.829 million), tin by 38%, to $0.809 million ($450 thousand) and zinc by 43.1%, to $12.237 million ($4.986 million).

At the same time exports of aluminum and wares in Q1 dropped by 33.5%, to $23.888 million ($8.836 million in March), lead – by 49.8%, to $5.285 million ($2.302 million) and nickel – by 70.8%, to $0.671 million ($0.265 million).

Zinc export in January-March totaled $197 million ($111 million in March) as opposed to $42 million in Q1 2018, and tin – $20 thousand ($5 thousand) as opposed to $257 thousand. (Ukrainian metal)
