ChTPZ will supply 130 thousand tons of large diameter pipes for the construction of the Saryarka pipeline in Kazakhstan.
The batch of pipes has to be supplied until September.
The diameter of the pipes is 820 mm and the wall thickness is 12, 14 and 18 mm. The pipes will be made of K60 steel with inner and outer corrosion-resistant coating.
“Kazakhstan is one of the largest ChTPZ markets in the CIS countries. In 2018 our share in combined Russian pipes deliveries to Kazakhstan was 47%”, the group commercial director Denis Prikhodko said.
The length of the pipeline will be over 1 thousand km, with more than half to be constructed of ChTPZ pipes. (Ukrainian metal)
