In January-March, Ukraine exported 629.55 thousand tons of pig iron valued at $205.85 million, down by 25.9% and by 27.2% YoY respectively.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main importers were the US (66.31%),Turkey (9.74%) and Italy (8.84%).
In Q1, Ukraine imported 216 tons of pig iron valued at $140 thousand as opposed to 309 tons at $179 thousand in Q1 2018. The main suppliers were Russia (64.29%) and Germany (35.71%). (Ukrainian metal)
