Volgograd Iron and Steel Works Krasniy Octyabr intends to put into operation the arc steel furnace No. 5 this month.
“In March the works produced over 10 thousand tons of metal. In Q2 the capacity loading is planned on the March level. And the repaired arc furnace No. 5 will help achieve this”, the company said.
In particular, this month Krasniy Octyabr plans to produce and ship 900 tons of nickel steel and 900 tons of chromium steel. This corresponds to 20% of orders. (Ukrainian metal)
