The U.S. Court of International Trade has upheld an earlier decision to apply a 184.56% duty on imports by Russian steel producer Severstal, Bloomberg reported on March 28, citing the court decision.

The U.S. Commerce Department slapped the duty on hot-rolled and sheet-rolled steel imported by Severstal between December 2014 and November 2015.

The authority said that the sales database for Russia and the U.S. lacked key information and refused to prolong the application submission term and applied a high duty rate. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
