The investment project “Novokonstantinovskaya mine. Manufacturing capacities development” will help decrease the dependence of the domestic nuclear energy on foreign suppliers of uranium products.
The project will also improve the efficiency of uranium oxide concentrate manufacture by VostGOK.
In particular, the mine will increase extraction from 200 to 500 thousand tons per year, and the uranium oxide concentrate manufacture will grow to 701 tons in 2021 as compared with 336 tons in 2018. (Ukrainian metal)
