Ukraine: 84% of metal quotas to EU fulfilled

The EU metal import quotas will be in effect for 101 days.

As of March 21, Ukraine has used the following amount of quotas:

– hot-rolled metal – 84.1% (1.1 million tons);

– cold-rolled metal – 49.03% (50.1 thousand tons);

– plates – 22.68% (77 thousand tons);

– rebars – 54.68% (34.1 thousand tons);

– rods and bars – 40.75% (2.3 thousand tons);

– wire rod – 27.52% (41 thousand tons);

– angles and sections – 35.18% (15 thousand tons);

– railroad materials – 0%;

– gas pipes – 100%, the quota for the second quarter is 13.4 thousand tons;

– hollow sections – 62.94% (15.8 thousand tons);

– seamless pipes of stainless steel – 45.51% (2.3 thousand tons);

– other seamless pipes – 35.06% (12.8 thousand tons);

– cold-rolled rods and bars – 25/65% (4 thousand tons);

– wire – 46.24% (12.3 thousand tons). (Ukrainian metal)
