In 2018 Russia exported 5.05 million tons of steel rolled metal and pipes to Turkey valued at $2973 billion, down by 11.8% and up by 6.1% YoY respectively.
According to the customs statistics, flat rolled metal accounted for 50% of exports, including thin-sheet steel (80%, down by 13.7%).
Exports of semi-finished products decreased by 10%, to 41%, of bars and sections – by 30%, to 1.1%. At the same time the share of pipes grew by 24%, to 5.8%. (Ukrainian metal)
