In 2018 Russia exported 1,64 million tons of steel valued at $1103 million to Kazakhstan, down by 11.8%, but up by 2.3% YoY respectively.

According to the customs statistics, this is the largest result in the past three years.

The share of bars and sections is 35%, down by 27.5%, and flat rolled metal – 16,7%, down by 22.6%.

At the same time the share steel pipes grew by 8%, to 24.7%, and unalloyed products – 2.6-fold, to 19%. (Ukrainian metal)
