In 2018 Ukraine earned $2.9 billion on the sale of iron ore, having exported 36.8 million tons.

In particular, Ukraine exported 21.1 million tons of non-sinter ore valued at $1.3 billion and 15.7 million tons of sinter ore at $1.6 billion.

To America Ukraine shipped 0.2 million tons of ore at $16.579 million. US accounted for 24.99%, Canada – 0.01% and Mexico – 75%.

Ukraine exported 0.1 million tons of ore at $6.9 million to Africa, and 11.7 million tons at $905.7 million to Asia, in particular, $652.6 million to China.

Europe bought 24.8 million tons of Ukrainian iron ore at $1.937 billion, with Poland accounting for $383 million.

To the ex-CIS countries Ukraine exported 0.14 million tons of iron ore valued at $2.5 million: Belarus (76%), Russia (13%) and Moldova (11%). (Ukrainian metal)
