In 2018 Sibcable manufactured products valued at 11 billion rubles, up by 11-12% from the plan.
“We had a successful year. Though the plans were ambitious, all the goals were reached. We developed some 17 new structures of cable wares. We’re currently looking for and developing new materials”, the company director Alexei Zhuzhin said.
One of the most important tasks is the development of cable wares for oil and gas enterprises.
“Last year we developed 5 new structures of the oil cable. The oil extraction conditions are getting complex all the time. While earlier oil extractors used to descend to 1-1.5 thousand meters, now they intend to bore down to 4.5-5 thousand meters”, he added.
Each year Sibcable supplies some 12-13 thousand km of cable to Gazprom neft. (Ukrainian metal)
