In 2018 Russian Copper Company increased copper cathode output by 6% YoY, to 216 thousand tons.
According to the group president Vsevolod Levin, Mikheyevsky Mining and Processing Works was able to increase copper extraction to 92%.
Karabashmed increased raw copper output by 12%, to 139 thousand tons. Copper content reached 99.2% with the target of 98.9%.
Kyshtym Electrolytic Copper Plant has assembled two additional bath rows of 40 electrolysis baths each, which allows increasing capacity to 140 thousand tons of copper cathodes per year. (Ukrainian metal)
