In 2018 Severstal sold over 5 million tons of rolled metal to local construction companies, up by 7.1% YoY.
At the same time, the growth of metal consumption in construction sphere was only 1%.
The sales growth is due to additional lines of coated metal.
In particular, in December 2018, the company produced the record high volume of coated metal – 132 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
