In January Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works increased rolled metal output by 20.6% YoY, to 293 thousand tons.
Steel manufacture grew by 18.8%, to 335 thousand tons, and pig iron – by 1.2%, to 424 thousand tons.
In December 2018 the company produced 261 thousand tons of rolled metal, 294 thousand tons of steel and 418 thousand tons of pig iron.
In 2018 Mariupol Ilyich increased rolled metal output by 4.2% YoY, to 2.903 million tons, steel – by 4.7%, to 3.241 million tons, pig iron – by 8%, to 4.498 million tons and sinter – by 8.9%, to 11.11 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
