The State Expertise Service has approved the project to construct a mine at the Yubileynoye deposit.
It is expected that 78,399 cubic meters of rock will be in development for 7 years.
The reserves of the deposit are over 100 million tons of copper ore.
At present Bashkirskaya Med LLC is developing some parts of the deposit. Its capacity is 600 thousand tons of ore per year.
The company intends to start subterranean mining with the capacity of 3.6 million tons per year. Hence, the need to construct additional objects.
The construction of the mine began in 2011. The first ore was mined in April 2015. The estimated term of the deposit development is 36 years. (Ukrainian metal)
