Some employees of the Kurakhovskaya mine (state enterprise Selidovugol) have announced a hunger strike because of the salary debts.
“Their main demand is to clear salary debts for June, September, October, November and December 2018”, Mikhail Volynets, the chairman of the Independent Miners Union of Ukraine, wrote on his Facebook page.
So far only 5 employees, including the chief geologist, are striking. (Ukrainian metal)
