Vismut has postponed the construction of a mining and processing works at the gold-ore deposit of Zheleznyi Kryazh in Zabaikalye region to 2019.

The company intended to start constructing the GOK in late 2018.

The reasons of the delay are not disclosed.

At the same time, the company retains the license and is not planning to abandon the project.

The C1+C2 balance reserves of the deposit are 18456.9 kg of gold and 2425.5 kg of silver.

The capacity of the GOK is estimated at 700 thousand tons of ore (1.5 tons of gold) per year. (Ukrainian metal)
