TMK Chermet and Volzhsky Pipe Works have carried out a project to expand the scrap delivery ways by using automobiles.
Previously scrap was delivered only via railroad.
Under the project an additional exit from the scrap procurement site of TMK Chermet has been created, and three trucks have been prepared.
And VTZ has assembled automobile scales.
At present some 50-100 tons of scrap is delivered to VTZ by trucks per day, or 12% of the daily volume. (Ukrainian metal)
