The net loss of Russian metals producer Mechel narrowed by 2% YoY, to 12 billion rubles in January-September, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said.

Revenue almost doubled to 9.5 billion rubles, and the gross profit more than quadrupled to 9.4 billion rubles.

Long-term liabilities have grown by 12.3% since the start of the year, to 262.6 billion rubles, and short-term ones halved to 10.7 billion rubles. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
