Vostsibugol LLC has been announced a winner in the auction to develop the Western field of the Motovsky site of the Voznesenskoye deposits in Irkutsk region.
The company paid 100 million rubles for the license.
The estimated reserves of the site are 51 million tons of coal.
The size of the site is 11.4 square kilometers.
The coal will be extracted from the pit, and then exported and supplied to local customers.
The development of the deposit will start in 2021, and in 2028 it is planned to reach the design capacity of 3.7 million tons of coal per year. (Ukrainian metal)
