In 2003 Solway Investment Group (Sweden) purchased Pobuzhye Ferronickel Plant in Kirovograd region, and since then has invested some $200 million.
According to Dan Bronstein, chairman of the board, investments went not only in the manufacture, but also in the educational and cultural spheres of the Pobugskoye town.
“Now PFK is one of the most efficient ferronickel manufacturers in the world. We are able to reach the rate of extraction of over 90%. Only two leading works in Japan have such results”, he said. (Ukrainian metal)
