RM-Steel, specializing in the metal structures for the construction of ships, plans to double its output next year.
“For this we intend to buy another heating furnace, which will allow us increasing output from 11 thousand tons to 22 thousand tons. The cost of the new machinery is around 90 million rubles”, the company owner Vladimir Matyushko said.
The main products of RM-Steel are bulb plates and various metal structures.
According to Neva-MetalTrade LLC, another supplier of metal structures to shipbuilders, the volume of the bulb plate market is some 15 thousand tons or 2.5 billion rubles per year. (Ukrainian metal)
