Electrozinc has completed the annual repairs of its zinc manufacture and commissioned the main and auxiliary shops.
The company has also put into operation the absorber of the sulfuric acid shop and the cooling tower of the steam power shop.
“The commissioning of the absorber has completed the reconstruction of the sulfuric acid shop, which has been carried out since 2008 to minimize the impact on the environment”, the company CEO Igor Khodyko noted.
The construction of the absorber started in February 2017, and its full cost is 186 million rubles.
The modernization of the cooling tower cost 37 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
