On October 4, 39 employees of the Oktyabrskaya mine of the Krivoy Rog Iron Ore Industrial Complex refused to return to the surface after their shift.
The reason for the strike was the decrease of salary for some employees.
The miners have been staying underground at the depth of 1115 m for 4 hours. Late in the evening the management representatives descended to them to discuss the increase of the salary. (Ukrainian metal)
The results are as yet unknown.
