Gaysky Mining and Processing Works has received a lifting machine for the Ekspluatatsionnaya mine.
It has been produced at Uralmashzavod and transported during the summer months via railroad and trucks.
“The largest parts weigh dozens of tons. In particular, the weight of the pulley is 58 tons. The unloading was carried out with the help of a railroad and truck cranes”, the company said.
According to the manufacturer, so far this is the largest machine of its kind on the Russian market. The diameter of the pulley is 5 meters. It can lift 50 tons of ore from the depth of 1300 meters in one cycle.
Gaysky GOK will start assembling the machine in 2019.
This will be the final stage of the mine reconstruction, which began in 2011.
