DTEK Esko has carried out two energy-servicing projects at the Central Mining and Processing Works of Metinvest.

According to the company statement, the modernization of 19 pumps will allow the works annually saving some 2.3 million kW-h of electricity valued at over 4 million UAH. This is provided for by 10 frequency converters and 7 new electric engines.

DTEK investments in the project totaled 7 million UAH.

“Half a year ago DTEK Esko carried out the first energy-servicing project to install 12 frequency converters at pumps, thus saving us 8.2 million UAH”, CGOK CEO Dmitry Shevchik said. (Ukrainian metal)
