In H1 Russia produced 63342 tons of rolled stainless steel, down by 3.9% YoY.
Despite this, Krasniy Octyabr Volgograd Iron and Steel Works is still the leader, having produced 76.2% of all rolled stainless steel.
The company increased output by 17.5% YoY, to 48266 tons.
Stainless steel bars output in Russia dropped by 7.8%, to 29494 tons, with Krasniy Octyabr producing 37.8% of the total output and Zlatoustovsky Electrometallurgical Works – 32.3%. (Ukrainian metal)
