The Uralelectromed subsidiary (Manufacture of non-ferrous metals alloys) will produce two refining tanks to increase the capacity of the refining department of the metal shop.

The cost of each tank is 3.8 million rubles.

The machinery will be placed in the beginning of the technological cycle and will be filled with black lead.

“The new tanks will be produced of stainless heat-resistant steel, which can withstand lead oxides”, the subsidiary director Tagir Khafizov noted.

At present the first tank is being manufactured. At first 12 segments with the thickness of 38 mm will be made of steel sheets. Then these segments will be connected.

Each tank will be able to hold 180 tons of lead.

The tanks operating in the refining department have the volume of 120 and 150 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
