In January-August Magadan region mined 261.8 thousand tons of coal, up by 9.1% YoY.
At the same time, no coal was mined in July-August.
There are 3 enterprises mining for coal in the region – Kolyma Coal Company LLC mined 185 thousand tons, up by 83% YoY; Association of Business Cooperation increased output by 17%, to 49.3 thousand tons.
And the Severo-Vostochnaya Company LLC extracted 27.4 thousand tons. It did not operate last year. (Ukrainian metal)
