In January-July Kazakhstan exported 293.4 thousand tons of ferrous scrap to Russia valued at $76 million.

According to the customs statistics, this is down by 12.6%, but up by 4.8% YoY respectively.

In July exports grew by 39.7% YoY, to 71.8 thousand tons.

The average price on the border with Russia was $275.7 per ton without VAT, up by 6.3% MoM and by 47.7% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
