In January-August by-product coke plants imported 7.66 million tons of coking coal and coal concentrate, up by 16% YoY.
In August 0.87 million tons were imported, down by 21% MoM.
Local coal deliveries reached 1.75 million tons, down by 22% YoY, in August 140 thousand tons were delivered, down by 8% MoM.
In 8 months Ukrainian by-product coke plants received 9.41 million tons of coking coal, up by 6% YoY. The share of imported coal was 81% against 75%. (Ukrainian metal)
