In August Ukrainian coal production reached 2.904 million tons, the Trade Union of Coal Mining Industry of Ukraine informed on September 5 with reference to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
“In August coalmining enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership extracted 2,904,151 tons of coal. The plan was fulfilled by 103%,” reads the report.
In particular, the production of coalmines managed by the Energy Ministry made up 348,836 tons, which amounted to 97.9% of the planned targets.
The production of coalmining enterprises of all forms of ownership has totaled 21,435,150 tons of coal since the beginning of the year, up by 611,139 tons from the target.
The production of coalmines managed by the Energy Ministry has made up 3,135,500 tons of coal since the beginning of the year, or 89.9% of the planned targets. (Ukrinform/Ukrainian metal)
