The Shakhta Ugolnaya Company, mining coal in Chukotka Autonomous District, has joined the Beringovsky area of advanced development.
Within the area, the company will modernize its capacities and in 3 years acquire new machinery – a belt conveyer, a combine, winches and other equipment.
The total volume of investments will reach 250 million rubles.
The project will increase coal output from 130 to 300 thousand tons and allow exporting.
Last year Shakhta Ugolnaya mined 189.42 thousand tons of coal, down by 18% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
