Until the end of the year the Kapitalnaya mine of the state enterprise Mirnogradugol, the Kurakhovskaya mine of the state enterprise Selidovugol and the Yuzhnodonbaskoye No. 1 Mine Group will put new long faces into operation.
“The government has this year transferred 341 million UAH for the modernization of coal mines”, the vice-prime minister Vladimir Kistion has noted.
According to him, the Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman has ordered the energy minister Igor Nasalik to provide additional 1 billion UAH for the coal industry.
“These funds are necessary to revamp state mines and commission new long faces to reach the needed level of coal supply. 1 billion UAH will provide for additional 2 million tons of coal, which will decrease the need to import and make state mines more profitable”, Kistion said. (Ukrainian metal)
