In January-July Ukraine increased exports of carbon steel semi-finished products by 15.9% YoY, to 4.011 million tons valued at $1.92 billion, up by 46.7%.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main customers were Italy (33.41%), Turkey (17.74%) and Egypt (17.44%).
At the same time Ukraine imported 22.679 thousand tons of semis, up 3.5-fold YoY, valued at $13.722 million, up 3.9-fold.
Semi-finished products were imported from Russia (96.09%), Kazakhstan (2.77%) and US (0.95%). (Ukrainian metal)
