In January-July Ukraine imported 2.771 million tons of aluminum ore and concentrate (bauxites) valued at $109.994 million, up by 6.3%, but down by 1.3% YoY respectively.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main suppliers were Guinea (57.99%), Guiana (35.86%) and Brazil (5.48%).
In 7 months Ukraine re-exported 45 tons of bauxites valued at $5 thousand to Poland, while in January-July 2017, 22 tons of bauxites were re-exported to Poland ($1 thousand) and 140 tons to Russia ($9 thousand). (Ukrainian metal)
