This month Severstal will supply the first batch of hot-rolled metal to Uralmashzavod.
Plates will be used in the manufacture of casting crane with the lifting capacity of 520 tons. The machine will be used at Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works.
Investments in the project total 600 million rubles.
The metal will be delivered via railroad directly to the city of Yekaterinburg.
This is the fifth crane to be produced by UMZ for Severstal. In 2007-2011 CherMK received 3 cranes with the lifting capacity of 500 tons and one with 520 tons.
Another batch of metal will be shipped in September, while the crane will be delivered in Q2 2019. (Ukrainian metal)
