In January-June Nizhneyakokitsky Mining Works extracted 500 kg of gold.
These are the best results among Seligdar enterprises.
In 2006 within the project to develop Nizhneyakokitskoye ore field a new enterprise was created – Zoloto Seligdara – on the basis of the Seligdar miners team, which had been developing alluvial sites since 1975. But the raw materials base was running out very quickly. Thus the new enterprise switched to mining ore gold.
Because the gold content in the ore is low – 1.2 g per ton – the gold is extracted with the help of heap leaching. (Ukrainian metal)
