In July Vyksa Iron and Steel Works has shipped to Gazpromneft-Khantos the first batch of casing pipes with OTTM thread joints.
The pipes with the diameter of 324 mm and the wall thickness of 9.5 were produced at the arc furnace shop No. 3 with the further creating of threads.
“Thanks to the center of pipe finishing we now can produce casing pipes with the diameter of 139.7 mm to 426 mm to be used under the most severe conditions”, the company managing director Alexander Barykov said.
The capacity of the center is 100 thousand tons of pipes per year. (Ukrainian metal)
