In January-June Severstal increased steel output by 6% YoY, to 6.03 million tons.
Pig iron manufacture grew by 1%, to 4.61 million tons.
At the same time in Q2 pig iron output dropped by 4%, to 2.26 million tons, and steel – by 1%, to 3 million tons.
Overall steel sales in H1 increased by 8.1%, to 5.71 million tons, with 2.84 million tons sold in Q2. (Ukrainian metal)
