Gold output of Magadan region increased by 14.39% YoY, to 358.961 tons in January-June, a representative of the regional government’s natural resources department reported.
Ore gold output rose by 25.52%, to 9.062 tons, while alluvial gold fell by 3.38%, to 4.37 tons.
Silver output dropped by 2.82%, to 358.961 tons in the period.
Magadan region’s gold output rose by 18.23%, to 32.951 tons in 2017. In 2018 gold production in the region is projected at 37.1 tons. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
