Izhstal has repaired the arc steel furnace to produce stainless, tool and speed steel grades. The repair of the rolling mill-450 has also been completed.
All the work was performed according to schedule.
The repaired arc furnace produces high-alloyed steel grades. The site capacity is 60 thousand tons per year.
The mill-450 produces rolled metal. Last year following the modernization, the maximum diameter of the rolled metal produced increased from 120 mm to 180 mm. (Ukrainian metal)
