By 2020 Norilsk Nickel will have invested over 4.4 billion rubles into Oktyabrsky mine in Krasnoyarsk region.
According to the company statement, the funds will be invested under the project to support the mine and keep its capacity on the level of 5.2 million tons of ore per year.
The project is divided into 4 stages. The first will be finalized by early 2019, and the second – by 2020. The completion of the project is scheduled for Q4 2024.
The mine develops rich copper and copper-nickel ores. (Ukrainian metal)
