Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Works is on the verge of the being shut down because of the sulfuric acid shortage.
“In 7 days we will completely run out of the sulfuric acid, the raw materials, without which our operation is impossible”, the company CEO Musa Magomedov wrote on his Facebook page.
According to him, the works was able to survive the military activity, but could shut down because of the mere shortage of raw materials.
“The situation is explained with the lack of railroad cars. The Torgservice enterprise had in June to supply us with 1080 tons of sulfuric acid, but so far has provided 60 tons, or 5%”, Magomedov said. (Ukrainian metal)
