Alexandrinskaya Mining and Ore Company has mined 4 million tons of ore at the underground mine Chebachye.

The deposit of the copper ores is situated in Chelyabinsk region. It was discovered in 1972. The reserves are estimated at 15 million tons of ore.

The development of the deposits started in 2004.

The mine was commissioned in 2013. The first million tons of ore were mined in early 2014. In 2016 Chebachye reached the project capacity of 800 thousand tons per year.

Russian Copper Company invested over 2 billion rubles in the construction of the mine.

At present this is RCC’s only underground mine and the main ore base for AGK. (Ukrainian metal)
