In January-May Khabarovsk region yielded 7232.7 kg of gold, up by 12.4% YoY.
Resursy Albazino LLC, a part of Polymetal, has provided for 40% of the total volume. The company is mining for gold at deposits of the district named after Polina Osipenko.
Alluvial gold accounted for 443.7 kg of the total volume, down by 14.5% YoY.
Silver output totaled 20667.3 kg, down by 7.6% YoY.
Okhta Mining and Geological Company, another part of Polymetal, obtained over 80% of the volume.
The drop in silver output has to do with the thinning of the Khakandjinskoye deposits.
In 2017 Khabarovsk region yielded 23147 kg of gold, up by 18.6% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
