ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has additionally increased its salary fund by 1.1 billion UAH, and intends to return to the issue of raising salary in autumn.
According to the workers’ union, a meeting was held on May 23 with the company CEO Paramjit Kahlon.
“He said that the industrial situation at the enterprise was difficult. The works was suffering from enormous losses. But having spoken with the union, Paramjit Kahlon decided to additionally increase the labor payment fund by 1.1 billion UAH (from the current 3 billion UAH)”, the union reported.
Kahlon has asked all the employees to focus on the work.
“When all the blast furnaces operate in full mode and the manufacturing process is restored, the parties will return to the issue of increasing salary. This is expected in October”, the message said. (Ukrainian metal)
