Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works has started the program to replace the locomotive fleet, under which the company has already received 3 new TEM9 locomotives.
Such machines have not previously been used by the company. They will replace the outdated TEM1 locomotives.
In the next 5 years NLMK railroad fleet will get 27 new locomotives, with 10 arriving this year.
Thus, by 2022 the NLMK locomotive fleet will have been 22% replaced.
At present the company is using 120 locomotives. (Ukrainian metal)
