Gazprombank has opened a loan of 54.4 billion rubles for 12 years to finance the development of the Tominskoye copper-porphyry deposits in Chelyabinsk region to Tominsky Mining and Processing Works, a part of Russian Copper Company, and has also given the first tranche of 7 billion rubles.

The development of the Tominskoye deposits and construction of the GOK includes design and construction of the open-pit mine with the capacity of 28 million tons of ore per year, construction of the processing factory to produce copper concentrate, as well as creation of infrastructure.

The investment budget of the project is 77.8 billion rubles. The commissioning of the works is scheduled for Q3 2019. (Ukrainian metal)
