In January-March Nizhny Novgorod region sold 322 billion rubles worth of industrial products, up by 13.8% YoY.
According to the regional ministry of industry, metal companies sold 41.8% more goods, while metal wares sales increased by 25.9%.
“The metal industry growth mostly has to do with the operation of the Vyksa Iron and Steel Works. The plant is carrying out a major Russian Railroads order on the railroad wheels delivery. VMZ has also increased pipe sales”, the ministry noted. (Ukrainian metal)
